The
required line pull is pre-selected via the hydraulic oil pump (pressure
/ flow controlled). The line tension will not relax (static pull),
irrespective of whether the resistance to the line pull is low or high.
This special feature renders
the winch capable of monitoring and controlling itself more effectively than would be
feasible by manually controlling the line speed and pull.
